George Jarvis fights in pivotal main event battle live on Sky Sports | 'It puts me straight back into that limelight'

Former WBC Muay Thai world champion George Jarvis is determined to put the toughest moment of his career behind him when he collides with Thailand's Sinsamut Klinmee in the main event of ONE Fight Night 41, live on Your Site in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The 25-year-old Crawley native will face another former ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title challenger in what promises to be an explosive battle, as both men look to force their way back into the championship picture.

Jarvis, known as "G-Unit," suffered a heart-breaking knockout loss to ONE lightweight Muay Thai world champion Regian Eersel in August 2025, ending a stellar four-bout winning streak and bringing the Briton's dreams crashing down.

"It was the worst part of my career, mentally and physically, and everything led up to that moment," Jarvis said. "It's made me realise how easy it is to get taken away from you, and also how hard you do need to work."

That setback has only fuelled Jarvis's hunger for ONE Championship gold. The Englishman, who has been coached by his father since the age of four and has had him in his corner for nearly all his fights, is eyeing another shot at the coveted belt.

Standing in his way is Sinsamut, a former two-time ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title challenger who also fell short against Eersel on both occasions. With an 83-21 career record including five victories in ONE Championship, the 30-year-old Thai veteran brings vast experience and a dangerous striking arsenal to the high-stakes contest.

For Jarvis, this matchup represents the perfect opportunity to announce his return to title contention.

"To be honest, it's probably the fight I wanted most," he explained. "And I believe it's one of the fights that, if I come and beat him, it puts me straight back into that limelight. I was really pleased. It's a perfect matchup for my style, and I'm excited."

With a career record of 27-5 and a 4-2 mark in the organization, Jarvis has proven himself as one of Britain's finest strikers.

And in the early hours of Saturday morning, he plans to showcase his versatility against the experienced Thai and wait for the right opportunities to strike.

"I'm happy to go to war. But I can also sit back and have a good technical fight, so I'm not going to give too much away," Jarvis said. "But this game plan that we've got, I feel it's going to work out perfectly in my favour."

Ben "The Problem" Woolliss will make his promotional debut on the show, where he meets former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker in a featherweight kickboxing clash.

The Grimsby native has battled through health issues in recent years but is healthy now and has already got his 2026 off to a strong start, earning a first-round TKO victory just last month.

That led to him signing with ONE Championship, and now he makes his promotional debut on nine days' notice against the hard-hitting Brazilian.

Following a spectacular run in MMA, Lineker made the transition to Muay Thai in 2024, using his enormous punching power to earn a pair of knockout victories. It also translated well to kickboxing, where he pushed former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Hiroki Akimoto to the limit last year.

But Woolliss is a lifelong kickboxer who has waited for the opportunity to display his skills on a global stage, and he intends to take full advantage.

"Time to show the world what we've always known," the Grimsby striker wrote on social media. "Privileged to have signed the contract with ONE. My goal is to be the best striker in the world, here's the next step.

"11 years of battling Crohn's/Colitis, sidelined, fighting through chronic disease. I have a chapter where I'm healthy and able to compete at my full ability, I will not let this opportunity go."

Watch ONE Fight Night 41 live on Your Site Action from 1am on Saturday morning.
