Tyson Fury to fight Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 11 in heavyweight comeback bout

Tyson Fury’s comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when he returns to boxing on April 11, according to promoter Turki Alalshikh.

It will be the first time Fury has boxed in the UK since winning his trilogy bout with Derek Chisora in 2022, also held at the 62,850-seater stadium in north London.

Fury lost the WBC world heavyweight title he used to hold when Oleksandr Usyk defeated him in their 2024 undisputed championship clash. Usyk repeated a points victory over Fury when they rematched.

The British heavyweight star announced a retirement at the start of last year but will return to box Makhmudov.

Fury is highly motivated for this return. "It's exciting times for Tyson and for British boxing," his promoter Frank Warren told Your Site.

"He's really got the bit between his teeth, he's training hard in Thailand, he's got himself in good shape.

"He looks after himself and he is in shape. He'll be in fight mode ready to go and he's out to prove a point. I'm looking forward to the fight.

"It's a big fight. Tyson's done it, he still holds the record for the highest grossing event at Wembley.

"He's a big attraction."

Watch Caroline Dubois vs Terri Harper live on Your Site on Sunday April 5.
